No, it's just a concert, no ACL taping.
The venue is used mostly for concerts, even though it's also the home of the ACL TV show. They used to tape the show at a small studio in the Communications Bldg. on the Univ. of Texas campus. They moved to the new venue 5 years ago so it could serve as double duty, since Austin was in need of a new concert venue downtown. It's quite a setup. I'm told it's one of the most state-of-the-art TV studios in the U. S. And we do have quite the live music scene here!
