Default Gordon's Music: Multimedia then & now

Wow, while temporarily incapacitated, I've had days to watch most of Gord's concerts & interviews on Youtube. How lucky we are to live in an age where these are archived from the very beginnings to Johnny Cash shows, etc. Coincidentally (perhaps in retaliation for my hogging Youtube bandwith?) google is now announcing that they're going to be having a paid Youtube subscription service for music called a MusicKey. Not sure how this will be implemented but if you haven't made the most of watching Gord on Youtube now would be a good time. I know the links have been posted here before but if you haven't seen the full BBC concert (perfection) or Soundstage...well I've been so entertained again.

It also had me thinking about the music media products we have over now a half century. I still have Gord's vinyl lp's (but no record player), some squeaky cassette tapes, the Live in Reno video (but no VCR), and of course some cd's. Anyone have still have an 8-Track? Well it's a pleasure to be able to view many of these nonfunctioning media recordings on Youtube and the live concerts and interview legacy.

And I remember the great debates in this forum about downloading music many years ago when that was a new thing & now they're all on Youtube!
