"The crowd that filed out into the harsh winter sun read like a 'who's who' of professional hockey," says the reporter in this 1974 CBC News clip. Horton's pallbearers are hockey greats Allan Stanley, Bob Baun, Dave Keon, George Armstrong, Dick Duff and Billy Harris. And by pure chance, there were no NHL games scheduled on the day of his funeral.
