I do have everything that Gordon has done on albums, cassettes, Cd's and DVD.

I admit to downloading some of the very special things that Tom and his Lightfoot tribute team did a few years ago when they did such a wonderful job adding photos to Gord's songs.

I used to take my new albums and make a copy on cassette to play in the car and to keep my albums in better condition and so I would always have a copy.

My jeep has a cd, radio along with a mp3 player, so the easiet way to take along my Lightfoot collection was to put it on SD cards.

I did find a site where I did download prior to the new CD his complete discography which fit on a dvd.

So yes I've done downloads for my own use.

I've have done the mp3 but I also seen files listed that are FLAC with loseless compression which I understand will have better sound. I don't know perhaps Sir John can better expalin the differences.
