I feel sure that I am not the only one here to offer you a warm welcome Newbie from WV. What you can now do to reduce your embarrassment is delete one of the duplicated postings. In theory if you, as a signed in member, mouseover the edit button of either one of them you SHOULD see the option to delete it

If you then press delete a very wan almost unreadable option display drops down

if you have good eyesight and/or get the lighting just right you could read
at the top "reason for editing" which since you are about to delete the whole thing is patently superfluous so ignore it
Lower down it says
"to delete the message check the appropriate option then click the 'delete this message' button.
under that is as very faint box called with supreme logic "deletion options" with two radio buttons whose leg ends are actually annotated as follows:-
Do Not Delete Message which is a complete and utter waste of space since you obviously clicked on delete to get here so it should not be an option at all,and certainly not set as the default action.
and the option you will check if you are certain you want to do this
Delete Message
Then under those two buttons is a blank text box entitled quite unnecessarily
"reason for deletion" you can safely ignore that too then press the delete this message
button at lower right
If you are lucky your misguided duplicate will be deleted
I shouted "SHOULD" and said "if you are lucky"
because several times when I have wanted to delete a message the delete option as shown in my first screenshot above has been conspicious by its absence despite repeated visits to try to delete. There is a thread called "test" still in the err umm Test Forum that I simply gave up trying to delete.
Be aware that if your message was the opening one of a thread then deleting it will in fact delete the complete thread including any replies
This message has been composed and posted as a public service to my fellow fans here.
I hope Florian (the site owner) reads it or is alerted to it by the moderator person and can rectify the drop down information to make it readily readable
Finally GL Fan from WV enjoy your time here and do not hesitate to ask any question about Gord or the band somebody is sure to give you an answer, usually couched in polite terms!!
But do try the site's somewhat inefficient search facility first to avoid raspberries

Umm Yummy
P.S.
Do learn how to display images here, it is easy (even the moderator can do it!!)
