My story is much the same as yours, Scraphappy.
I was 14 when I became hooked on my oldest brother's lp's of Gord's Gold.
Gordon's music has become such a pillar in my life (behind God and family, of course). I also live in a small town community where no one usually knows or listens to Gord. I think his music is just too intellectual, introspective and thought-provoking for most people.
Have been able to attend I think 14 concerts since 1991, and have met Gord and the band 12 times. My wife and I have tickets for Springfield, IL in September.
