I only ask about smell because Cathy has a very aromatic guitar..One stand out memory from the 2001 Massey get together is Cathy asking me to smell her guitar. Being unfailingly polite and with so many folks watching I did so and was so happy that it actually smelled so good. I don't know what I would have said had it not.

Do clarinets have a distinct aroma? I don't know! ...bring it with you in May..We'll work it into the playlist of tunes somehow.
