Barry is one of a kind, he is always happy to see a fan he recognizes (or fakes it so well he should have an Oscar for the performance), a gentle soul. I love watching him, depending on my seat sometimes he is so buried back there that you don't see him. He is also a "star" ball player.

several times now whilst enjoying being in a seat in the first two or three rows I have looked at Barry and was convinced that he caught my eye and I caught his.Then when meeting him back stage he said that he had indeed seen me (Of course he fact that my white hair tends to shine in the residual light from the stage lights would have helped him spot me)He is always very courteous and willing to answer questions or volunteer snippets of information , such as the recent surprise decision by Gord to perform Sweet Guinevere after just one run through during rehearsals and a second go that day during the afternoon sound check.
