Well, in the Bible, it does say that the sea will be as blood (just as it is with all the oil in the ocean), but it also says there will be numerous shipwrecks. And I believe it also mentioned fire coming from the sky, (a meteor) and we haven't had that yet, so maybe it's not the end quite yet.
