Default Greensburg, PA 6/17/10

I am a long-time reader of this forum, but haven't posted before. My husband & I saw Gordon last night at Greensburg, and since there aren't any other posts about it, I thought I'd add my impressions.
It has been two years since we heard him, and we thought he sounded better, his voice stronger last night than previously. Also, the sound in the Palace Theatre was excellent. We were sitting in the loge section, (almost the exact center of the building in all directions) and we could hear all the words well.
Gordon came out wearing a navy jacket, white shirt, dark gray slacks and black boots. For the second set, he traded the jacket for a brown vest and made a joke about putting on a clean shirt, too. One other interesting thing he said was a comment about the DAR, and then daughters in general, and then "I have six children, 4 boys and 2 girls."
The songs were:
First set:
Did She Mention My Name
Carefree Highway
Sea of Tranquility
14K Gold
Never Too Close
Let It Ride
Painter Passing Through
Rainy Day People
If You Got It
Beautiful
The Watchman's Gone
Ribbon of Darkness
Sundown
The Wreck

Second set
Triangle
Cotton Jenny
Restless
Clouds of Loneliness
In My Fashion
Make Way For the Lady
Home From the Forest
If You Could Read My Mind
Don Q
Baby Step Back
Trilogy
Encore:
Old Dan's Records

After an extended ovation, he came back out alone for a prolonged bow, but no more songs However, all in all, it was a great evening!
