I hope no one gets me wrong. I love the music and the body of work, and the way the band plays these days. But, I have been to two shows recently where all the electric guitar effects were cut back and the tempos slowed to make way for the voice. It is also painful and strange to hear the awkward phrasings on some of the songs. I am a big fan of Gord's later work and the voice that goes with it. Waiting For You is one of my favorites. But even that voice has faded.
