I scrub my carrots with one of those nylon pot scrubbers.
The USDA — even though it certifies organic food — doesn't claim that these products are safer or more nutritious.
THe washing of baby carrots in chlorinated water is safe. We drink and brush our teeth with chlorinated water. Levels of chlorine are regulated.. there will always be those who find it 'unhealthy' tho. if I buy them I wash them again anyway...in my chlorinated tap water..lol
