UK was a lovely visit but i was glad to get back to some warmth and non-greasy food, lol
i spent my entire time mapping out castles in Scotland and Yorkshire area and journeyed towards them starting early each morn so see them in magic lighting hour...the anticipation was wonderful as the map would show i was gettign nearer and nearer one...many were amidst new developments but the few that were out in the middle of nowhere were the real gems...i must make an album of the photos of the 30 castles and abbeys (and golf clubhouses
) i tackled...looking forward to your site, JF
this was the Dumfries castle that I most admired....800 years old (rebuilt a few times of course) and complete with a moat and drawbridge
i got lost many times, especially when back in London, what a subway map!
