I agree with both things you say there Misty, everytime I watch the SoundStage concert from Chicago when he introduces the song as, "This one is called (On The TV) I take it as a joke he's playing on his audience. Because I already had the Album DSR & knew the songs pretty well. And then he gets into the song, actually singing those words
instead of on the high seas, it's simply was funny to me.
As for "rubbing the wrong girl right" from "Hangdog Hotel Room" well that fits in real good with the partying style Lightfoot & many others had going on in those days. lol
