I bought my 3 kids ( who have met Gord and the band I think 6 times - poor kids) c.d.'s and dvd's for their 'survival kit'. Kind of a joke that is going to become an annual tradition for Christmas.

I got them 'Gord's Gold' , 'Gord's Gold Vol. 2' , 'East of Midnight' , and 'Shadows'. They already have a few others.

Got Gord's Gold because of the wonderful re-recordings (for songs 1 - 9,if I remember right),
Shadows because there are so many songs they have heard him perform live that are not on the greatest hits c.d.s , and East of Midnight because of Gord's fondness for the album. A direct quote from Gord "It's my best album." He admits it's not his best-selling, but because of his self-producing it.
