seems to be a free trial there....lots i know use the nero thing without issues it seems...i thought Windows had a disc copy utility similar to the throw in type Movie Maker (ie. you get what you pay for)....if it's home movies then i would spare no expense in ensuring you got them archived but i understand you want to be somehow satified that it's going to work before purchasing, it's aggravating that they don't take software returns thanks mainly to all the pirating out there...it seems like these blu rays are keeping ahead of that lot by having viewers be constantly updating their 'firmware' version...i sometimes miss the old days of hooking up 2 vcrs and pressing play and rec without much hassle and no digital errors messages to decipher
