I've just read this earlier this morning and thought I had recognized her name but had no idea where..very sad indeed.
I read that she attended the Etobicoke School of Arts which used to by my high school when it was called Royal York Collegiate..

Taylor was nominated for Best Young Performer with the Canadian Folk Music society..awards are held in November in Ottawa.
