Re: Butte Montana concert, Sunday Oct 11
Some of these people just don't realize what a tramatic injury can do to a person's memory, especially if it involves the brain, or lack of circulation to the brain. After I had the aneurysm, I could remember how to make chords with my left hand, but my right hand just absolutely refused to remember how to finger pick. It completely forgot everything. I had to go back to the basics, listening to songs over and over to spark my memory. And remembering lyrics, oh, that's another story! I still have trouble with lyrics, and usually keep a stack in my guitar case. I would imagine that Gord has had similar problems after his illness.
