I'll have to admit. The cucumber tree is most definately an unusual looking tree. As for the actual veggie it's self, I like to peel one & slice it up, and then I pour garlic vinegar over the slices, then sprinkle on a little salt. The flavour is really addictive, and is good as is, or on sandwiches or salads. Try it some time.
