Default Re: Gordon on the radio this Saturday

Gord was so classy and graceful when Mark Simone stupidly brought up
the whole "Greatest Love of All" thing when Gord was considering sueing.
It was, I think, out of context and bush league from an ill prepared and silly interviewer.
I was so proud of Gord.

The dj asked what they did (he was pretty tickled by the idea of these two legends sitting in the same room). Gord said sometimes they would play, sometimes just sit and look at each other!
The interview continued with them talking about his acting career, with the dj commenting several times about Gord's thick Canadian accent. He remarked how it wasn't detectable in a song, but was in speech, much like the British singers of the 60's.
The upcoming concert in Westbury was promoted, and the dj said it must be fun since it was a theater in the round. Gord commented that the mechanics weren't all that good on some of those old rotating stages, so they could often get shaken while the stage turned.
It was fun to listen to, nothing real new or earth shattering, but some funny moments.
