i personally like it when a crowd is subdued and not hootin and hollerin during narrative song performances...that's if i'm at a paid sit down event...if it's at a tavern, well, what do you expect

yea, i dunno of many words with stronger connotative meaning than sizzle or sharp, enhanced further by the drawn out sssss....wonderful phrases and waterfront imagery, no matter how disjointed the poetry appears on the 'surface'

my university room mate was a Prine freak...on overload of Prine spinning in our residence may have been the cause of redirecting my major interest from math to more subjective studies

this classic Lake tune had my perpetually humming mind segue into Down by the River...interesting words here by Young which i believe are universal to not just Dylan and he but any songwriter (regarding the 'force' which sprouts and drives the creation of a song)
