TOFINO — A handful of local musicians will perform a tribute to one of Canada’s most famous singers and songwriters next Saturday.

For the Love of Gord, a tribute to Gordon Lightfoot, will take place inside the Clayoquot Sound Community Theatre April 4 between 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Behind the tribute concert are the Usual Suspects, a local band featuring Roger Plant, Bill Morrison, Wayne Vliet, Rob Thoms and Bryden Ashton.

Tickets are available in advance at the Common Loaf Bake Shop for $12. At the door, tickets are $15.

On Sunday, Plant told the Westcoaster.ca that as many as 30 tickets have already sold." Golly 30!! already by March 30th.I wonder what the audience totalled on Saturday??
