Cod Liver Oil and Cotton Jenny
On a whim I googled for "Cod Liver Oil", originally to check on its Omega3 content I then added "lyrics", due to a song by the same name being on Gord's old Canadian Talent Library album

one result produced the lyrics and referenced Irish crooner Val Doonican
UK readers will no boubt recall his endless series of television peformances wearing an even more endless variety of sweaters or cardigans
Another result was a youtube video
which is therefore a cover of a GL recording

thinking of Val and GL covers reminded me that I still have an old vinyl album with Val's cover of Cotton Jenny
I searched youtube again to check for a possible video of Val's CJ, negative , but I did refind
the Frank Ifield yodelling special of Cotton Jenny (which I suspect has been shown here before, probably by me, when IIRC some people hated it but IMHO it merits a repeat).
I also found the Anne Murray duet with Olivia Johnton-Newt
so there you have two Australian artist's covers of Gord
