Thanks so much for taking the time to post the details and sights and sounds of the Celebration shows. I'm listening to the Beautiful tribute CD as I write this to try to get in the spirit.
When I read about Jenney's driving up from Connecticut, I've got to admit to feeling a little wimpy about using the winter drive as an excuse for not going. But I'm really glad to hear she made it there and back safely. So next year I'm going to make a point of being there.
It's fantastic that this group was able to sell out three consecutive nights in the dead of winter. I had the chance to see Jory perform at Mariposa a few years ago, and to talk with him after that; he is a very engaging young guy.
From your first post: 1)How wild that there is actually someone named Jenney Cotton.
2) Why does Jason Fowler WISH Gord had given him the notes on his CD? Was he not there when Lightfoot came back? Did Gord not leave his notes to be given to Jason?
I'm looking forward to the CBC2 broadcast in March.
