In short, JJ, you are correct with a little help in decipherin' some minor requuisite parts... and your Q on dots versus prose/poetry - the dots in the song as I showed in the clue are correct - only in so far as are held datum for the game is... 'Wayne's World' Lightfoot! - the lyrics per Wayne Francis are:

Like the dreams of love that we shared so long ago - and to answer the specific dot question, for interest's sake - I did long ago define the dots as pertinent to clue word(s) positioning in terms of whole lines of verse, as opposed to what so often ( I agree) appear as two 'sentences' - in one line of verse, which , in this case, the 'verse' line, does in deed end with the appropriate clue words in correct correspondence with the 4 dots as illustrated in the opening clue...in any event - you GOT IT !
