jj - its not your mic...lol...its your eyes lad...do a re-fresh on your previous page - you'll see it - I had a router-home wifi multiplexer failure here as my correction post was PENDING OF COURSE ,B4 I saw this post of yours, right as the little turqoise color spinning anime-glyph started spinning..captivating me and implanting subconscious thoughts to buy redundant microsoft products.
I'm going back to good ole' free-ware Linux-Unix O/S - and write my own f*8c*in* database, and plug in my mapping software from ESRI to that - runs stronger in Unix by far. Higher thu-put, almost zero O/S-based and apps crashes - as long as the apps do not need emulators - crash-causing on anything, dramatically lower sys depedencies, all tru 64 bit, command-driven with CLI 4GL +5GL shareware (CLI on the 4GL) built-in programming languages with no planned obsolesecence - its all incremental in upgrading, the kernel/core stays the same.
I don't like this desktop's Windows Vista - my Windows XP (2000 redux) Professional/Office ran much more reliably on my Dell portable dumbell set (11 lbs lol)- MooJave project or not - thats salesmanship is all. I DO like the tabs - I no longer USE more than one window consequentially - 8 tabs per window - can do same in Linux with programming =I am so tired of crashes in this perfectly good dual core upper-mid level desk platform; I want to run on my Dell XPS Laptop again - in repair - but Linux here I come, with simultaeous O/S capable strength, run windows when I need 2 - despite footprint - I have lots of disk and tons of RAM on the laptop - ,more than a lot of 'High End' desktops. Its just burns your
OH boys off. lol.
OK jj - cool - u c mention made on previous page ? BTW -before I post new 10, when is your on-line time when the majority of other users are on - so I don't give inequitable advantage to you and joveski ? - U know -Your highest overlap with other timezones - notably North American of course ?
Thank jj - good new thread - burned me ! lol
