Mende - Howdy from Northerly latitudes, up around the 44-th parallel. Not lookin at a map, but since I put Melbourne into my little global warming spot-watching, I've noticed you are almost always same temp +/- on warmer days as where I live, up a bit higher than Castle Rock proper, down in town anyway, and just wondered, before I address your thang above, are you at low, low southerly lat's like say 55 south, and with coastal temperate weather ?; my tracker widget says Melbourne is either perpetually around 60 degrees during day, and you often say you're cold down there, which sounds like coastal temperate warmer days and colddddd...nights.

Or, as we get to 35 -38 at night this time of October above Castle Rock in Rampart Range territory, northerly terminus of The Pikes Peak famous (sorta - its where America the Beautiful was written from inspiration on top of, she- the songwriter - even mentions the Ramparts in the lyrics...once again ...I swell with Patriotic Pride -sniff-) - southerly end of the Rampart Range.

OK 'nuff blabberty on my part, anymore, socializing is half the fun in here with lyrics - have you seen the last 3 pages ? lol...its great !! apparent chaos to our previously pragmatic form-submit-feed program-output-answer-move-on-to-next-beep! M.O. I am liking this better...lots of cross-talk...if you make heads or tails of it on my part....which I am...but at first glance it appears to be relative chaos.....but the great minds looking at Dark Matter in Geneva in the Hadron collider are finding more ways of determining orderly-disorder in "chaos" in physics - Brownian stuff. no wonder they call it Dark Matter...lol....but we don't have chaos so much as a new larger group that enjoys cross-talk on a clue....and its like a ping-pong ball of who is commenting and who is submitting lol..have not seen you in and around last night...we wrapped all 10 except the 2 you must have noted - your submit on Knotty Pine is allready tried and it does not work I am sorry to say by virtue of dots, and actual lyrics placement....and the missing word "like' its based, as I clued everyone a few posts back... on an old song from the Chateau Label around '63 - a rarity...its a tricker allright..looks like KNotty Pine to everyone at first. as follows:

but I am taught by the 8th-degree jeet-koon-do masters in the 70's to deflect/absorb/reflect/be agile/be adaptive/ lol...lol...sounds like a business conference for a day of yawns and phrases to take back to the office...lol....

that is not actually to be found in Knotty Pine per Wayne's World with those two words "like turpentine" in that order, but rather, as you've said, close to, but not quite, 'She crys turpentine'

then:Q170....like turpentine actual clue ....like turpentine, versus Knotty Pine per Wayne's World:
(E) She's my knotty pine, (A/B) she leans with the wind
(Bsus4) She cries (no "like here") turpentine

and later in song:

She's my knotty pine, she leans with the wind
She crys(no "like" here, either) turpentine

Knotty Pine [/COLOR] ~gl

its a trickery one, George Bush Jr. would say, thats why just about everyone thought whay what you did too, and.... Char, I think - submitted as yours was... I'd have to go check, but I don't want to lose this post. I keep getting spontaneous need to re-loggin, minues apart- is anyone else getting that ? And "quick reply" seems just busted is all, it either says you're posting a duplicate from 5 minutes ago, or says wait 10 seconds and try again, and then it blows out... is it just me ? I always use full REPLY, or quote reply within a given post... you ?

Sorry Mende, you are in good company though - check out the wacky clues to the never-would guess it without internet research (hint) on Chateau Records around '63 byan album called ( )Lightfoot .

nice effort - and intuitive as well. shucks...

Thanks for playin - oh - give ....evergreen a try - its got a new clue to help as well of Hi derry-day in the month of May merriment (done in rock-style ?

OK - later
