I just saw the score on the web. But I watched the news and they were saying that the wings put up their banner and things went downhill from there. And I said to myself YES, that must mean the Leafs won! WOO-HOO!
I hope the Canadian Lightheads don't mind if I call them "My Leafs"! (Next Saturday, I see they are playing "my" Pens; that's gonna be a hard one to watch, if it's televised!) I have family and friends in Pittsburgh; that's why they're my Pens.
Anyone familiar with the Western Hockey League? Portland has a team - the Winterhawks; one of these days maybe I'll get to a game.
As someone who has ice skated, I am just so impressed by all their skating!
