First post and first visit to this forum.

The first time I ever saw Gordon Lightfoot perform was back in 1975 at the Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh, PA. Along the way, I have seen him about 15 times. My son and I saw him last night in Buffalo and his band was as tight as I can ever remember. Yeah, I know his voice has changed but he still has the passion and the fingerpicking style down to a "T" and I see he will be playing at Chautauqua Institution (30 miles from my house) again next July. Maybe I will finally get to shake hands with he and his band members.

Without a doubt, my favorite song writer and guitar player ever and we share a birthday to boot and my favorite vacation spot is Georgian Bay.
