RM - nailed it on the (for children, or A child) - "Fine as Fine Can Be" picked up on the pretty well-known fact that Gord wrote that for and about his daughter, who he sang it to while playing the piano, as I recall, on stage.
Worth pointing out - I love my daughter Mamie very much, who is 26 now. I have come to appreciate Gord's fondness for children or their plight as the case may be in his music. The references are rife....
