all the very best to Karl... I've an uncle peacekeeping in Afghanistan and each day I think of his daily job I realize how fluffy my own work is

on that note, I recall when Gord was asked about the tremendous dedication and hard work involved in his touring and doing his songwriting craft

he replied something along the lines of, "well, it takes time but my job is NOT hard work ...hard work is done by the type of fellas who work in the mines"

(I'm sure he'd add, and the soldiers who toil for our nation's well-being)
