That's such a nice memory that you have of your friend that died.
It seems as though the smallest of things can make us so happy when we are young.
Maybe that's why we are told to have the "eyes of a child" when we are searching for our faith.

It's hard for us to understand about death when we are that young...well, it's hard even now that we are older but that's another thought all together.
It must have been hard on you to find out about her and realize that death can take anybody at any age. I know that freaked me out big time when I realized that part of it.

It's not about feeling sorry for you and your losses as a child...we all suffered in one way or another with something.
It's more about sharing your memory and knowing you better as a person.
It makes us all more real to one another when we share our personal history.
Some people do that, some don't, but either way it makes us more human and more understandable to one another.

Yes, it's great to feel like a winner when your a kid.
