On the aesthetic appreciation of the Fiat Panda, pens and Mac portables
Pure craftsmanship creates elegant fountain pens, and the pint-sized Fiat Panda is pretty cute as well
a good read is an article by the BBC Top Gear (car programme) presenter James May in this week's Motoring Telegraph
on the Fiat Panda

there is a lengthy collection of responses there too including such pearls of wisdom as:-

James, you’ve recently written with wit and polish about a wide range of consumer durables, from Waterman pens, to Apple computers, to Omega watches and even Gap jeans.

Have you ever considered writing about cars? I think that, if you ever tried your hand at motoring journalism, you might be rather good at it"
In the same issue was an article on the Chevrolet Aveo, that is just about to go on sale in the UK at a price including taxes of £7,695 (at todays exchange rate that is US$15,195.30), this compares with a New York price of only US$10,235 (less $2000 cashback). It is made in Chevy's new factory in Warsaw Poland

and basically replaces previous US market small cars that were badged as Chevys but were actually Korean Daewoos from that defunct car manufacturer
