Hi-All. Sorry I haven't been around lately. To answer your question Jesse, the concert was at the Universal Ampitheater at Universal Studio in Universal City near Los Angeles. I saw him there twice in the late 70's. What a master! That was when Pee Wee Charles was with the band.
I'll never forget, in the middle of one of those concerts, Gord asked if anyone had a fingernail clipper to fix his broken fingernail. There were two or three ladies who came up to the edge of the stage trying to hand him their clippers. Those were definitely the days...as these days will be in 20 years or so.
I think the coolest thing I saw Terry Clements do in one of those concerts was when he played his guitar like a mandolin during the instrumental on "Christian Island"...Wow!
12 Gord concerts a year. Sounds great...but my wife would kill me!
