Wouldn't pass that up for anything.....even a Mariah Carey album! LOL!

OK this is not that rare a vinyl album. it very often is on offer on ebay. Indeed right now although there are no private sellers there is at "coolforever"'s Ebay store a copy being offerred admittedly at rather more than Mr Sober Rodent's bargain find:-
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEIL-CHOTEM-LP-S...2em118Q2el1247

this contains a nice image of the attractive album sleeve:-

there are in fact several albums of instrumental versions of Gord's songs but IMHO they all have one glaring fault that makes them in the end pretty boring: they do not have any lyrics. Another such is by the "Mariposa Reeds":-

Plus one that I bought back in 1988 in Ottawa:-

One instrumental CD that I do have is Tapestries

somewhere I have a larger image than that but I know it is on an external hard drive that I am unable to access right now
because my desktop insists that that drive containing nearly 40 GB worth of valuable (to me anyway) archived files requires formatting which I do not for one moment accept
However whilst trying to find it on line I did find on amazon.com:-
Tapestries The Music of Gordon Lightfoot
Perry Novak & Bob Volkman with Ernest Lyons (Author)
which turned out to be not a book but the same audio cd on offer by
used_cd-universe for an optimistic $50.00

I bought my copy on Yonge Street on November 1999 at Sam The Record Man's emporiam
