That Canadian Idol girl is Elena Juatco, and she performed that incredible version of EMR while Mr. Gordon Lightfoot was in the front rows with his daughter Meredith. The following night she was voted off. I still today cant understand that vote.
If I was in managing new talents I would have sign her to a record deal right after that performance. She was the best that particular season. But a major part of Canada did not think so...
