I heard and saw it on the news last night at 9:25pm,it was "breaking news".
In two sad ironies,Charlton passed away (1 day shy) of two weeks after Easter.

Easter being when we usually watch "The Ten Commandments",my favorite scene from that being when he throws the tablets down onto the golden calf,as well as the parting of the Red Sea.

Also,he passes on 40 years and two days after the release of Planet Of The Apes to theatres.

"Ben Hur" is the other great role we know him for and his academy award winner,after being in a completley real and dangerous charito race,he certainly should have won. These days,they'd probably computerize a chariot race,which demondtrates the true boldness he demonstrated.

I never agreed with his NRA stance but I did agree that he was one great actor and the kind that we'll never see the likes of again.
