Default Re: A New "Lightfoot Lovesongs" CD

Hey slow down everybody ,I am struggling with this accursedly slow witted dial up connection , which means that by the time I have loaded uo the thread at any moment then revised this draft reply and got the quote to come up then paster then waited for the page to reload, then try to correct my inevitable typos a dozen more replies have been made and I have to start the whole sorry business over phew!!
let's try again
OK I guess we could argue and debate the exact CD contents until Kingdom come whatever that means!
I have now withdrawn Spin Spin very apt though it is IMHO in favo(u)r of I"ll Tag Along., on the strength of CHar's brilliant justification
(reminds me my response to Deb's comment

is that I did not realise how like a Christmas card that Inspiration Lady screenshot is and yes at the time early 2004 that he made that video no doubt Gord was ruminating on the break up with Elizabeth, and he was not yet over the Moon so to speak in that regard and had yet to make his famous "Ring Ring" call to CHar!!!

Now as for the track times the solution was staring at you and I suspect Ruth realised that fact
I admittedly had to make mp3s to do it but unless I find a similarly simple program to mp3indx.exe that will work with a folder full of wav's that is to my mind an easy and elegant way to go. In fact having now exchanged "tag" for "spin" the revised TRT for my suggested 24 is still in line with a CD-R's capcity viz:

Note as I think yoiun subsequently did Ruth that the value shown after every file is in fact its running time in minutes and seconds.
As far as the date of the recording you can either I suggest check the circle P year on the CD rear insert
for example I see that "EOM" was1986 and use that or subtract one if you have good reason to believe it was the year before, or consult the oracle/cornucopia at:-
http://www.lightfoot.ca/albrecno.htm
where Wayne states the recording dates of every album
(My Love For You is obviously pre the film release date)

Thanks Jimmy
the font is actually the one used on the Songbook box set and after scanning the Gordon Lightfoot from the case I submitted it to the fantastic WF (What The Font} site as described on the old "Wolfgang's Vault" thread I resurrected yesterday, and from there I found that it is footlight MT Light I then found a free download of the True Type Font (ttf) file and attach it to this for anybody interested to dowload and then copy to their c:\windows\font folder
Now I AM going to attempt to burn my latest 24 selection and then get on with a sample rear tray insert artwork
And finally since Deb has kindly sabotaged my cover design by withdrawing Inspiration Lady I am forced to change my own number one to IL.
Now would some kind soul nominate "The First Time" else the love song trilogy is kaput!!!
