And that is why I would highly encourage you, if you have never done it, to seek each other out at future Gordon Lightfoot concerts!

Yeh!! You got that right!!! It's a feeling that is even hard to put into words, but it's wonderful. Meeting several of you Cordians before the Minneapolis Show made the show even more magical!

Oh, and Borderstone, way back in the pre-computer age, you had a fellow Gord fan here who was writing more letters, to many places and people. Had penpals that I'd found in the "Goldmine" Magazine. We wrote back and forth very often. That was in the 70's and into the eighties. Then, when we got the internet, every changed so quickly. Wonder where those people are now?? Are any of you here?? We used to wait for the itinerary to come out every year in the mail. That was exciting! Just made my year.

I still have those and the envelopes that they came in.....just like they were
sacred. It's been an wonderful 30 years!!! And then so sad, anxious and concerned, when Gord became ill. But, I'm sure that none of us gave up hope and so many prayers were offered up, that I can't but think that collectively, his family, friends, and fans, really prayed him and willed him through that long ordeal.
What a beautiful coming together of the minds and the spirits of Gord fans. Is there anything else quite like it???
