Ok, Yuri, dead leaves, brown leaves, wilted leaves sure do qualify- and all these songs about things slowly fading-aren´t they just beautiful. It so seems that´s exactly the mood I was in when I started the thread. Besides, I just love the season. Thanks for the gorgeous photo with the yellow leaves, John. I love it.
So, just one more-if not by our favorite poet-musician, then at least by Bob Dylan:`Desperate men, desperate women, divided, spreading their wings `neath the falling leaves..`(`Changing of the Guards´ from the `Street Legal´ album). An all-time favorite of mine. V.
