A friend e-mailed, "What's Playin'" . . . followed by:

"Amid the fears and prayers for our friends too close to the fires and floods, it is sometimes helpful to get lost in The Music for a little while."
----------------
So today, the 2007ChevyImpalaMobleCD/mp3Player has been playin' and re-plain'
a song I needed to hear and re-hear:

"The Rose in June"

. . . couple a versions: Louis Killien and Pete Morton

Then I'd make sure all the windows were *up* . . . rear back . . . [Roger Miller Style]
and let fly all four verses of that old Christian Hymn *Revive Us Again*

. . . integral to *The Rose in June*

To remind myself to laugh in the midst of Faith and Fear, I'd seque into
"Hallelujah! I'm a Bum!" [a song written during The Great Depression . . .
to the tune of *Revive Us Again*]

So . . . What's Playin'?
