Thank you Annie for your American perspective. The UK Carling ad series were wonderul, somewhere I have another one on a VHS tape, that was a piss take on a then-current Levi 501 Jeans commercial and featured a well known UK male model (Nick Kamen) stripping off in a laundromat watched by the same two actors who played the pilots in the the dambusters raid CBL commercial who comment:-
"I bet he drinks Carling Black Label"
"Nah, he doesn't wash his underpants"

OK I know I keep banging on about Brit Humo(U)r ansd I did once confess that one of the few American comedy shows I
feally appreciated was the 60's hit
The Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In

In addition I spent a lot of time writing up the fantastic "to-back-oh" skit by Bob Newhart see one of my postings to the
recent topic subject "corfid" at:-

Meanwhile I am thoroughly enjoying Jay Leno on his tonight show every Monday at 11:30 when he produces a stack of cards
with amusing "headlines".
I am also actively searching at you youtube for comedy videos to save and convert using the technique that I have superbly
descrtibed in one of my soon to be world famous tutorials:-

at:-
saving_youtube_videos_tutorial
And today found a video entitled:-
"Best Of Jay Leno Headlines" at:-
which runs 7:41 and is an 18.14MB download using "youripper" see my tutorial as mentioned above for comprehensive
instructions
One of the newspaper cuttings should interest those in the great white North:-

interestingly the logo for
http://www.thenyc.com/ appears throughout his video
which turns out to be not the New York Club but the National Yacht club in Toronto

Trust me I will return with more Brit humo(U)r
