Ha! Mention "used record shop" or "used bookshop" and I am in my heaven. Last time in London, it was the only reason I went to SoHo.

Tons of these places, and all absolutely wonderful.
Looking online is not really a satisfying experience, unless I already know what I want, then I can search for a good price, but it's still not the same. The entire atmosphere is missing - the smells, the touching, the pure enjoyment of holding the book/record and the anticipation of wondering what I have just found.
I also want to go off on a bunny-trail about vinyl, but I'll wait till everyone has had a chance to chime in on Yuri's thread. Great topic, Yuri!!!
