Hi all,

I am going into the hospital tomorrow to have a 2 cm brain tumour removed from the fourth ventricle (back of the head). It kind of looks like a golf ball sitting in the cup, so they've decided to whip it out. I've had a lot of headaches and dizziness lately - far too much in fact, so after a couple of cat scans and an MRI, I've been booked for prep on Wednesday and the operation is Thursday. They don't know if they can get it all, as it's in a tricky spot, but my surgeon is excellent and I have a lot of confidence in her. I'll be out of action till sometime in December, so I'll drop y'all a note when I can string some intelligent sentences together.

Uh yeah, not that I could do that in the first place, but there's always hope!!!

(I have lots of Al Stewart and Gordon Lightfoot MP3s, and a few good books to see me through my stay.)
