Perhaps someone can verify this. Speaking about Smarties, I heard that the band 'Van Halen' requested that the venue provide them with a number of items back stage and on stage. One item caught my attention as it was a bowl full of Smarties with a particular colour removed. How arrogant I thought until I heard that this request was made in order to verify that all other requests had been fulfilled. By checking the bowl of Smarties, if a particular colour was indeed missing, then they knew that all other requests were probably fulfilled. After all, someone who would honour the tedious task of removing a particular Smartie would no doubt take care of other simpler yet more important tasks. Clever, I thought!
