This is a poem that was written a few years back by Norbert Cunningham. The Train buisness hasn't been successful as the early years. Many lay-offs, and , even talks that, "we are going to loose the one thing that has held this country together." {Pierre Berton} So it was to sort of say, the beautiful Lightfoot Trilogy that was written in 1967, Canada's Centennial year, today would be the exact opposite, of what he wrote it for. Then the trains were the future. I hope someone can explain it maybe better.
