My first 45 single would have to be one of The Beatles, probably, 'She Loves You'? I have many Beatles singles still today. I thought they were simply the greatest thing on TV, Ed Sullivan, etc. My first LP, "Did She Mention My Name." Simply to have the song, 'Black Day In July.' The only Gordon Lightfoot song I knew. Boy did things change for me musicaly after listening to that album a few times.
