John, the Chapin Family concert sounds very cool. Jen Chapin and her two sidemen (known as The Jen Chapin Trio) played for our series last year and were wonderful. Jen actually uses Harry's guitar and Carey was all psyched that he actually got to hold and strum a few chords on "Harry Chapin's guitar" (and no, I have no clue what make or model it is
). I never really followed Harry's career, but I like several of his songs, I like what he stood for and the person he seemed to be.
I'm so envious that you enjoyed crawfish etouffee - I haven't had any since I visited Mom in Louisiana last October. Yum!
