Being treated as a fool by deception is not nice. It annoys people .There is an implied level of trust when we go on-line. There is an unspoken and unenforceable code of conduct that you (maybe unconciously) apply to people as you would do to yourself. That is what makes it all the more annoying if you find you have been taken for a ride by someone who takes that sort of advantage for no other reason than it is so easy to do.

I am not interested in passing comment on the subject of the thread. I don't know if it is true, why he would feel that he was clever by deceiving people who trusted him. It seems its not even like he has done a good job of fooling everybody. I do know that the people who have alerted the apparent duplicity are not in my experience prone to making rash or extravagant claims. They seem to have evidence that convinces them that "games" are being played.
I suppose while I am lecturing on the subject of honesty I should own up. I am really Tom Cruise and have been pretending to be a fat rude Sydneysider to disguise my popularity and talent. Geeze I am good at acting aren't I !! [img]tongue.gif[/img]
