I was fortunate enough to see "Gillis" reruns here in Phoenix in the '80s and saw just enough episodes to know what was going on in their reunion movie.
Imagine! Maynard G. Krebs had become a well to do money maker!
(I wonder if they got the name for the Gilligan character from Gillis?)
